I fell into acting the way many people do - my mother pushed me into it. I had done the odd school or church play, but would not otherwise have considered myself built for stagecraft, what with my intense anxiety and abundant adolescent awkwardness. But when I was twelve years old, a nearby community theatre was producing Fiddler on the Roof and my mom convinced (i.e. forcefully encouraged) me to audition. Lo and behold, I was cast in the ensemble and promptly fell in love with all things theatrical.
And the rest is history!
