I fell into acting the way many people do - my mother pushed me into it. When I was twelve years old, a nearby community theatre was producing Fiddler on the Roof and she convinced (i.e. forcefully encouraged) me to audition. Lo and behold, I was cast in the ensemble and promptly fell in love with all things theatrical.
And the rest is history!
My versatility and professionalism are the product of over 10 years of classical acting training, from stage to screen to behind the mic. My years of theater experience mean Iām great at quick character and script analysis, love taking direction, and am always on board to experiment. For more information, check out my resume, listen to samples of my work, or reach out to me directly!
I also work as a freelance grant writer, using the power of storytelling to support artists and nonprofit organizations.
Whether you need a conversational commercial read, a trustworthy and authoritative explainer, or a warm and engaging narration, Iām ready to bring your words to life. For more narrative-driven projects (games, animation, audiobooks, etc.), my love of Shakespeare, dialects, and years of voice and stage combat training provide me with the ability to embody an impressive range of characters in diverse circumstances, from casual dialogue to heightened emotional moments to intense combat scenes. I have played stalwart heroines, warrior princesses, villainous femmes fatales, nerdy sidekicks, robots, vampires, werewolves, witches, and pretty much everything in between!
When Iām not working, I enjoy contra dancing, crocheting, playing piano, reading, video games, and many other nerdy hobbies!
